FAITH AND RESOURCES Jesus' life was the pure example of finding Resources its resources in the power of God. The Pharisees used their alliances with the Secularism political forces of Rome. The philosophies of the Greeks was still prevalent along with the resources of a powerful Roman Empire. Jesus did not in any way avail Himself of any of these natural resources. He was a man who totally and completely relied upon His "connection" with the Father. He achieved Capable all through His communion with God and de- pended entirely upon the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Gideon did not use the resources of the world when he destroyed the camp of the Midianites. In fact, the men and nations these men conquered were trusting in might and power, in alliances, in swords and chariots. It was men of the world who trusted in the resources of the world that were conquered by men of spiritual faith who used spiritual weapons. In Judges 4, it was God who gave Deborah the battle plan that would destroy Sisera and the 900 iron chariots. Iron at this time was considered the symbol of strength on the battlefield. Horses and iron chariots was an invincible military advantage.
